Bouldering is all about connection. Connecting with the rock and the beautiful places climbing takes you. Connecting with yourself as you hone in your focus in a way the world rarely allows. And connecting with fellow climbers, supporting you as you go higher. While bouldering is often considered a solitary endeavor, for some, the community around the sport is what hooks them and keeps them climbing on. We took two athletes to the desert of Utah to learn about their different perspectives of what this paradoxical sport means to them.
